Zozulka is a small family apartment in a residential area of Lviv, with an area of 30 square meters. The property retains the native parquet, lined with a “Christmas tree”, the irregularities of the walls, which were not plastered, but only painted. Beyond that, the space underwent a small redevelopment - the wall between the kitchen and the room was dismantled and the bathroom was enlarged. Glass blocks were also added, allowing more light into the property.

Important elements in the apartment are things with history. For example, used glass blocks and ceramic tiles for the bathroom and kitchen are found on OLX. The oak table, created more than 60 years ago, was used by the designer's family and has now become part of her residence. Around it are old curved wooden chairs.

In the room there is a cabinet from the furniture factory “Karpaty”, in the bathroom there is the same cabinet. Typical furniture of the Soviet period, which was previously in almost every dwelling, harmoniously merged into the newly created space. These items can not only go for disposal, but also remain in modern apartments.

Of the created in the apartment, only the kitchen and the bed, however, they serve for space, and not their novelty is the center of the environment. To make them look organically next to historical things, they were made of tinted birch plywood.

Reuse of the old, natural materials, the presence of plants, a lot of light, environmental friendliness and conciseness make the space cozy and comfortable.
