This apartment was a gift for the daughter of customers. For customers, it was important to make everything as high as possible and from natural materials, so the process stretched over time. The design took place in 2017, the works started in 2019, the pandemic stopped them, and the completion took place only at the end of 2021.

The main challenge was the height of the ceilings, only 3 meters. To create a feeling of space and warmth, most ceilings are made in the same coating with the walls, decorative plaster in light beige shades. The transition is softened by plaster cornices, which in each room have their own color. In the living room, the light ceiling is combined with dark molding and hidden light, which changes the intensity of the color and creates a takeoff effect. In the bedroom, paper wallpaper and a black cornice with lighting are used, and in the master bathroom, the entire ceiling is painted black, forming a metaphor of infinity.

Another important technique was the arches. Segmental loggias are combined with rooms and turned into wooden arched openings. The arch between the entrance and the living room set a soft rhythm to the entire space, softening its angularity.

The whole apartment is designed in a warm palette, only the bathroom has accent green shades, like the stem of a ripe fruit. The name “Persimmon” is associated not only with color associations, but also with the shooting time, summer 2022, in the first summer of a full-scale invasion. Persimmon in different cultures symbolizes wisdom, peace and happiness in the family. This symbol has acquired a special sound right now, as a wish to customers and the whole country.
