Parkova is an apartment in a sectional house designed in 1898 by the architect Karel Buublik. Located among greenery and flowers in Lviv, near Stryisky Park. Over time, the house has changed, the apartments have been redesigned, and the ceiling has maintained its venerable height of more than three and a half meters undisturbed.

Repairs were not planned in the entire apartment, but only in the corridor, kitchen and bathrooms due to the need to replace plumbing pipes. To fulfill the request, we partially redesigned these premises, as well as changed the placement of the entrance to the toilet. This made it possible to arrange a wardrobe for outerwear and necessary things at the entrance.

Parkova preserved the massive wooden doors with brass handles, which only had to be cleaned to make them shine in a new way. To complement the brass details, we have resorted to our favorite searches on OLX and this time we have fielded a whole set of furniture handles in good condition. There they also found a carved mirror for the bathroom and a goose hanger for a kitchen towel. Dining chairs were found in Denmark, where they came from, and the dining table came directly from Germany. Each with its own character, but understanding has definitely occurred here.

From what was created in the apartment, only the kitchen facades, which are covered with tinted birch veneer and new oak parquet, which retained the authentic character of the room. For practicality and durability in the bathrooms and on the kitchen apron, they used a quartz coating, which harmoniously fit into the overall composition of the dwelling.
