The long-awaited flagship showroom One by One has opened in the heart of Kiev, offering a new look at modern retail design. Created by architecture and interior design studio Between the Walls, this space combines minimalism with playful and interactive elements, giving a unique shopping experience.
One by One is a leading mass-market fashion clothing brand that is known for its modern and affordable designs that help people express their individuality. The collections of the brand embody the confidence and energy of youth, and the same is reflected in the design of the new showroom.
The design concept of this space was dictated by the emotional desire to create something opposite to the feelings that many Ukrainians feel today. War and uncertainty weigh on the population, so the designers sought to create a place where lightness and joy could at least momentarily replace fatigue from everyday reality.
“This project was my personal reaction to the conflicting emotions that I feel because of the war in Ukraine,” explains chief designer Viktoriia Karieva. - “Through the interactive pool and other playful design elements, we wanted to offer people an escape — a place where they could feel joy, ease. and a temporary distraction, at least for a short time.”
At the heart of the design is a modern minimalist interior that seems light, attractive and fun. White walls and tiled floors create a clean backdrop for showcasing clothes, while thoughtful accents and special installations add elements of play without distracting from the trendy range.
One of the key features of the showroom is an interactive round pool filled with blue balls, which causes joy and curiosity. This unexpected element embodies the serene energy of summer, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and entertainment, as if visitors moved from bustling Kiev to a world of tranquility.
Every aspect of the showroom has been designed with functionality and customer experience in mind. The space is filled with soft, pleasant lighting that avoids sharp glare thanks to carefully placed light panels.
The showroom also has a cozy seating area, which simultaneously serves as a photo zone. This is not only a comfortable place to wait, but also a corner that encourages visitors to take photos, thereby expanding the reach of the showroom on social networks.
Each dressing room has been carefully designed to create a stylish, contemporary look with white tiles, round metal chairs and perfectly positioned mirrors. These spaces are designed to create “Instagram” moments that encourage customers to share their impressions online and thereby expand the audience of the showroom.
Showroom design offers a sense of lightness and joy in the midst of difficult times, changing the perception of the shopping experience.
