Interior design studio Between the Walls presents Mislad office project, which embodies the philosophy of resimercial design — a harmonious combination of home comfort with the functionality of a modern workspace. After the pandemic, the office should be the place where you want to return, a space to stimulate productivity, creativity and psychological comfort.

The central idea of the planning was a dynamic open area at the entrance, which facilitates the interaction of employees and visitors. The multifunctional seating area is integrated with a meeting room and a welcoming dining room where you can hold meetings over a light buffet or a glass of wine. The meeting room impresses with its hexagonal shape with glass doors, double-layer curtains and soft Forbo carpet that provides perfect acoustics. Individually designed pistachio-hued wallpaper with a mythological lion illustration underlines the space's single storyline.

The special pride of the project was the collaboration with the artist Anastasia Lelyuk, who created a large-scale bas-relief in the kitchen area with fantastic animals and paintings on the ceilings that visually combine the space and add lightness to it. Four functional work areas are solved in their own atmosphere: a room near the synagogue with a restored vintage wardrobe from Odessa and warm yellow shades, an office “secret garden” for four seats with lamps, clusters of grapes, a space for six seats with contrasts of black and in red, and a director's office with dark blue shelves in the style of Donald Judd.

A sustainable approach to design is a key value of the studio. Working with things that already had a life allows you to create deeper, more personal spaces. The rich color contrasts — burgundy on wood panels, eucalyptus and bright blue hues — create a visually dynamic environment that combines comfort with refined elegance and keeps in touch with the history of the place.
