The new boutique of premium women's shoes is designed to fulfill an extremely demanding task: to equip a multifunctional space in the shortest possible time, combining a collection fitting area, a warehouse for 500 pairs of shoes and a compact office for the brand's team. An important condition of the customer was to avoid the atmosphere of the store. Instead, the showroom was meant to resemble private apartments — with a fireplace, warm light and a sense of comfort.
The main hall implements this idea. Visitors are greeted by a spacious lounge area with an Oak sofa by Woo furniture and a pair of Friendly chairs by Zegen, arranged around a glossy coffee table in the brand's signature color. The table serves as a podium for shoes and accessories. The atmosphere is enhanced by a decorative fireplace integrated into the niche of the wall. Behind the sofa, three-meter individually designed shelves emerge from the wall, which create an elegant background for the collection, and opposite is a custom backlit mirror.
The original layout — a long corridor with offices and a warehouse leading to the main hall — became not an obstacle but the basis of the concept. The space is redefined as a journey: thanks to the theatrical light behind the curtains, the technical areas are transformed into a sequence of sensual experiences. The office can be fully revealed, emphasizing the openness of the brand, and the path ends with a mirror portal that visually expands the space and metaphorically immerses the visitor in the main hall.
Light plays a key role in creating the atmosphere. Several scenarios are provided: the NO11 pendant lamp from Litvinenko Design accentuates the lounge area, table lamps and an artificial fireplace with “candles” add room to the room, and the delicate lighting of the shelves and mirrors highlights the collection. In the corridor, soft light penetrates through the fabric of the draperies, filling the space with a special atmosphere.
The materials combine texture and elegance: matte wood and textiles create warmth, while natural marble and glossy coffee table add dynamics and sophistication. It was this table, which required multi-stage sanding and varnishing, that became the central accent and its hue entered the visual identity of the brand.
Despite the short term and refusal of large-scale repairs, the space has acquired an expressive character thanks to furniture, textiles, author's details and carefully selected accents. Additional functionality was the initiative to equip a compact kitchen for employees in a niche that was not initially planned to use.
The main idea of the showroom is not to show shoes as a product, but to present it as an elegant art object in the context of private housing of a modern aesthete. Here, the role of traditional status symbols — antiques or paintings — is taken over by the shoe collection, becoming a marker of taste and sophistication.
