Planning and Zones:
• Active area — transparent tube slide with access to the dry pool, soft mat podiums for jumping and exercises, low Swedish elements. Circular routes allow children to move without crossing streams.
• Quiet area/reading — chairs- “capsules”, dimmed light, carpet with contour pattern for board games.
• Creative area — low round table with chairs, shelves for materials, easy access to water/napkins (provided).
• Observation niches — round “portholes” and arched showcases for your favorite collections and STEM experiments.
Built-in wardrobes with the rhythm of arches, combined open/closed modules, large drawers for toys at the child's level. The visual order is supported by the color coding of the niches.
Materials and safety
Preference for rounded shapes and softened corners. Floor — soft finish + matte zones; MDF facades with matte painting, laminated plywood/veneer in warm shades, fittings with hidden fasteners. Wear-resistant fabrics with easy cleaning, water-based paints, absence of small removable parts in the mounted elements are planned.
Light
Three scenarios: 1) game - linear ceiling tracks; 2) atmospheric - suspensions - “clouds” and contour lights; 3) quiet - local lights in the reading areas. CRI≥90 (provided) for natural color rendering.
Wall panels with semicircular geometries, soft contrasts without visual noise. Accents of sage green ground the palette, beige and milky keep the space light and calm.
Full-length curtains, textiles, carpeting and soft panels reduce reverberation — the room is comfortable and quiet even during active games.
Mat podiums and modular poufs are easily rearranged for different scenarios: holiday, team games, creative workshops. Furniture can withstand adult loads — convenient for parents and children to play together.
The concept demonstrates how to create a multifunctional, aesthetic and safe “mini-development center” on an area of 45 m²: a place where movement, imagination and learning flow naturally into one another, and design works for the joy and peace of the child.
