Hikari Nami is my author's vision of refined modernity, where each object creates not only comfort, but also energy support of a person in space. This sofa is the embodiment of japandy through the prism of Ukrainian design: balanced, natural, relaxed. Without directly quoting Japanese or Scandinavian, but with the depth of both cultures. No superficial effects — only authenticity.

Its shape is inspired by the image of a soft wave illuminated by the morning sun. Visual lightness, organicity and streamlining create a tactile idea of calm, dignity, inner silence. Space breathes with wood, stone, laconic volumes. This is a place where you want to be slow.

Hikari Nami sofa merges with space — like a shadow, like a soft shore of a wave. Its rounded shapes support and embrace without attracting attention to itself - on the contrary, they invite her to let go. It is not just an object, but a thing for years—perhaps even a generation. It doesn't grow old, it matures.

The soft asymmetrical backrest is made of solid or jointed wood and smoothly passes into the seat, forming a single “wave”. The seat is currently stationary, tested for very tall and medium height, and at the same time is a full-fledged sleeping place 1400×1900 mm.

Materials: natural ash, oak, walnut; textiles with expressive texture. Pillows have replaceable covers — for convenient care or mood updates of the interior. Contrast edging emphasizes lines and silhouette. The legs are inspired by the shape of Japanese geta (wooden sandals) or integrated into the sides. Their height makes it easy to clean under the sofa.

The model is adaptive: it can be manufactured both in the mid-high segment and in the luxury premium version. There are size variations, metal inlays, hand carving, expensive wood species, premium fabrics — or a simplified, environmentally friendly version. Easy assembly, possibility of disposal, suitability for private and commercial spaces.

Hikari Nami is simplicity as a quality of presence, and sophistication as essence and integrity. It can be an inheritance that speaks of values, even in memories. It is a subject that relaxes, maintains its structuredness and teaches to look at the world with self-respect and self-worth for its authenticity.
