“Echo” is a powerful work that praises the steadfastness of the human spirit and the promise of new beginnings.

The Echo's screen has graceful openings that resemble bullet holes, traces left by life's trials — as reminders of growth and transformation. These holes hint at the fact that while wounds take time to heal and can leave scars, they also serve as a gateway to renewal, allowing light to shine through and illuminate the way forward.

The screen creates an atmosphere of quiet reflection in any space, inviting you to pause and reflect on your own journey and transition from destruction to a future full of hope.

INSPIRATION:

Furn Object designers Anna and Sergey Bayersdorf were inspired by the stories of their compatriots and their own emotions. The screen displays auditory and emotional echoes of war that resonate across the earth and in people's hearts.

Echo is an object that honors the resilience of the human spirit, the power of memory, and the promise of renewal.

Delicate holes, similar to bullet marks, are the silent prints of life's trials. They symbolize wounds that heal slowly, leaving scars, but at the same time opening the way to transformation. Light breaks through them — as a metaphor for hope, healing and a new beginning.

The idea of the object was born from the personal stories of Ukrainians and the deep experiences of Anna and Sergey Baersdorf, the founders of Furn Object. The screen conveys the emotional and sonic echoes of war — invisible waves that pass through the earth and remain in the hearts.

Like a true echo, these memories do not fade over time, but form an inner strength and nourish hope for the future.
