This compact apartment in Kiev is created as a space full of sun, warmth and a feeling of comfort. The concept was born during the blackouts in Ukraine, when the need for light, color and tranquility was particularly acute. That is why the basis of the interior was a creamy palette combined with soft forms that create a feeling of comfort and security, and the accent yellow - the favorite color of the client - became a symbol of joy and inner sun.

The layout of the apartment is built around a bright common space, where the kitchen turns into the living room. The entrance area is gently separated from the general part by a small shelving and decorated as a cozy hall with small tiles in a chess rhythm. Bedroom, study and bathroom are taken out to the far side of the apartment, which provides privacy and comfort. The interior is dominated by warm natural materials, brass accents add restrained luxury, and the motif of arches, repeated in furniture elements and openings, forms soft plastic and emphasizes the architectural integrity of the space.

An important part of the concept was the appeal to the Ukrainian tradition: Carpathian bed carpets were developed specifically for this project, which add authenticity and at the same time a modern sound. The interior was also decorated with works by Ukrainian artists: painting by Alyona Andreeva, Vova Keno and ceramics by Zoreslava Pendeliuk, which organically complemented the client's personal collection.

This interior combines the rationality of planning, the soft emotionality of color and the strength of local traditions. It demonstrates how design can provide a feeling of sun and comfort, even when light becomes especially valuable.
