The new banda agency space corresponds to the spirit of the company — innovative, ironic and open to bold ideas. Clients wanted an office that was more like a large apartment with a history than a classic workspace.

The office of the creative agency is located in a building of the beginning of the twentieth century in the center of Kiev. High ceilings, authentic stucco molding and historical context became the starting point of the design. Two large wooden modules with mezzanines are integrated into the room, around which an organized open space is distributed into halls.

The entrance area with oak panels and decorative friezes immerses in the atmosphere of a traditional establishment, but the complex stainless steel reception and the large-scale spot lamp from Luceplan bring it back to modernity. The main hall resembles an eclectic studio apartment: soft furniture groups, custom tables and a podium stage that can be used for both presentations and work in small groups.

The interior combines vintage furniture, playful forms and contemporary art — from the futuristic Frag chairs, the iconic Soloform leather set of the mid-60s, plywood school chairs from the 80s to the ironic works of Alexei Kondakov, Max Zabrodsky and Danik Manjos, which add space character, personality and character.

The kitchen with a wavy bar counter and a Nuvola Mario Bellini lamp looks minimalist, but has all the necessary appliances. Between the windows are preserved unique paints — a visual memory of the creative way of creating the interior.

The wooden modules house bathrooms, meeting rooms and zoom rooms. Above them are working mezzanines and a “cloud lounge” with soft mats where the team can relax.

Nearby there is a workshop with a large table and wall-mounted aluminum sorter panels for experiments and rapid prototyping. The panels also feature an extensive collection of agency awards, which reminds: creativity always relies on painstaking daily work.
